The position of forklift driver has become available at Triton Express in East London
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely load, unload, and move goods, pallets, and materials from storage areas, trucks, or containers.
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) and other machinery to move, stack, and unstack large quantities of goods.
- Strictly follow all health and safety regulations, including wearing protective gear, reporting incidents, and ensuring loads are stable.
- Perform daily inspections of the forklift (fueling, cleaning, repairing) and report any damages or faults to management.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid forklift operating certificate/license is required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, often for long hours.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination to maneuver machinery in tight spaces.
- Precision in scanning, picking, and stacking to ensure accuracy.
