Full job description
The ideal candidate would be responsible for;
• Ensuring the highest product (Day old boiler chicks & Fertile hatching eggs) quality are always maintained
• Keeping accurate records and updating quality reports and NCR’S
• Updating and training current standard operating procedures
• Conducting Hatchery audits internally – Hygiene , Biosecurity, Hatchability, Animal welfare and Health and safety
• Assisting the Assistant Hatchery Manager to ensure all KPI’S are on standard
• Implementing the 20 keys program at an excellence level
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education
• Hatchery quality control experience would be an advantage
• Passionate, self-motivated and performance driven
• A team player with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse workforce
• High level of computer literacy
• Must be pro-active and be able to work accurately and independently
• Working hours are irregular and may include weekend duties and night shift
• Required to stay on site
